My Princess Chapter 7

“Maybe we should split up.” Jaz said, “Cover more ground”

“That might be the best option.” Demi sighed, They had been at this all night, trying to figure out where the coven of psychics might be hiding, They would want somewhere quiet, but also somewhere where they can see people in case they want to recruit

“they would never kill people” Adrian pointed out

“They are listening to Ashley now” Demi stated, “anything is possible”

“She has a point” Ariel said, “so how do we want to split up then?”

Demi sat there deep in her own thoughts, How should they split up, or better question should they split up at all? What if one gets into a group of them that will be hard to handle of course Demi would hear and be there in a minute but still. She sighed, “how about I go north, Jaz goes south, Adrian eat and Ariel west.”

“and us?” Grey asked

“you and Tristan get to have the honor of staying here”

“What?!” Grey glared

“Grey don't...we have HUMANS with us. NOW we need to be careful. Their lives come first”

“Right...” Grey sighed, “you up for it Tristan?”

“Do I have a choice?” Tristan asked

“Probably not” Adrian chuckled

Demi nodded, “lets go”

Ariel was walking around trying not look suspicious. He looked at people closely and nothing stood out. He then was suddenly hit behind the head,  he looked at a guy on a skateboard go by, he smirked slightly at him, and Ariel remembered him and ran after him, he was in the group, he was a psychic.

Ariel ended up in a parking lot, “Jaz would be really useful right now” he growled, but that was the point. Trap him here, then he couldn't use his powers, he was rendered hopeless. If he focused he could hear where they were coming through and hopefully throw a successful punch. He turned and got one in the jaw, then kicked one in head. Ariel could hear the marching more where coming.

Jaz was surrounded.

“we got the easy one. She only hides people”

Jaz smirked, that’s really what they thought of her huh? She then pulled a sword out behind her, “I know how to fight” Then she heard gasp, this was a demon sword, the kings personal sword. Adrian had stolen it, and now it was in the hands of Jaz, a half angel.

“Angel's can't use that!” A female psychic yelled

“watch me” she smirked, and ran forward shoving the sword throw the girls heart and watching her fall, “Whose next?”

“CRAAP!” Adrian yelled, he touched the head of one psychic, then turned and touched another, one by one they were exploding but more kept coming.

“god you guys brought a party huh?”

“Give us the Dragon”

“what?! Sorry I can't hear you” Adrian said pushing the person back and watched him explode. Then Adrian put his hands on the ground, making the road under him explode. He was blow up into the air caused by the explosion, he smirked and like a bullet he fell, his hands where placed in front of him as he fell. He grabbed the shoulders of a psychic and he flipped and throw the guy to the wall watching the man he just touch explode.

“you guys make this to Easy”

Demi listened, she was going against a certain group who was good at teleporting and invisibility. But with Demi's demon senses it wasn't hard to figure out where they where going to end up. She tilted her head to the left, 45 degrees to the left. That's just what Demi did, she got a fist full of hair and threw the person across the ground, it had been the blonde woman.

Demi had been right, this was an ambush, but the question was where was Ashley going to end up? Would she come for Demi? Or go for someone else? Demi then heard a scream.

Adrian stood there heaving, no one else came or so he thought, when a silhouette of a person walked up. He saw the long hair and the wings, Ashley had showed up.

“surprised to see me?” She giggled, “I thought If I took out someone Demi cares about this whole process be easier” Adrian glared at her, “so give up the dragon”

“no” he said and ran forward, she just held out her hand and grabbed him by the throat. She glared at him and her nails dug into his neck.

“Fine I will kill you” her nails dug deeper, “Then maybe your daddy will take me back”

Adrian screamed, the pain was coursing in his neck he squirmed and wiggled trying the touch her but she wouldn't let him. Adrian was then on the ground and standing in front of him was Demi, “I'm sorry Ashley. But I can't let you kill him”

“haha I knew you come”

Demi smirked, and then Ashley was eloped in a fire vortex and there stood Ariel and Jaz behind her, Demi smirked. The vortex was gone and so was Ashley, “That crafty bitch!!!” Demi yelled. Adrian stood up and picked a paper Ashley likely dropped, his eyes widened, “GUYS!!” he handed Demi the paper.

“Under the school...” she whispered, “They’ve been under the school.”
